On 30th July 12 Players including guests from Tettenhall and Nottingham travelled to Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic, via Liverpool airport and Wizz Air.

SANDBANKS 2009

Report from Adrian Butcher

Redhill had a stunning return the weekend at Sandbanks.In harsh conditions Carl and Roman won Division 2 for the men,beating nearly every country on the way and not losing a match.

Jade Butcher and Gemma Beddows came back as Under 16 Girls Runners up playing a hard final against the eventual 16s and 18,s Champions,this infront of a crowd of over 200-300 spectators.

On Sunday,Tettenhall Tigers and Redhill amalgamated with the girls winning the Under 14,s Championship,whilst Carl and Roman went on to beat the

more fancied Wessex team in the final of the under 18,s.This now makes them official British Number 1 under 18 pair.

Well done to all,not bad for kids who live the furthest distance from the seaside,please pass on to all club players and coaches.

AWARDS FOR ALL BID SUCCESS

RSVC's ambitious plans to extend our community provision and form Primary School Academies has been rewarded by a huge injection of funding from the Lottery.

Over £9,000 has been awarded to the club to: Organise 2 after school acadmies, purchase more balls and nets whilst developing our coaching staff and creating publicity materials.

Year 4 to 6 all welcome
